A wonderful wood carving of a Mountain Blue Bird, Song Bird
perched on branch attached to a juniper or cedar weathered
piece of wood. Ron Walstrom has superbly carved and painted
while capturing the true form of this blue bird. It has glass eyes.
Incredible wall hanging, decorative piece.
Signed and Dated: “Ron Walstrom, 80” (1980).

Wonderful early Blacksmith hand forged cast iron Alligator,
Crocodile. Depicting incredible meticulous craftsmanship,

are amazing. Superior form with reptile raised up off his front
legs, head turned and mouth opened.

| Carved White-Tailed Deer Canoe Cup |
A canoe cup is a woodman’s water dipper, also known
as a belt cup because most included a toggle or clip for
carrying it on a belt during portages. This well defined
carved canoe cup is made from oak burl wood and decorated
with a life-like relief carved and painted profile of a white-tailed
buck along one half of the cup. The other outer half is incised
with wavy grooves. It has a fringed rawhide strap and metal belt clip.
Circa 1940.
Excellent condition.
