Realistic carving of a Feeding Yellow Legs Shorebird Decoy. Exceptional confidence decoy with embossed wings and relief tail feathers with tack eyes. Signe “Rhodes”. David Rhodes (1933-2019) was a well respected carver from New Jersey. Ca. 1960’s. Stand included. Excellent condition (small rub mark on back) in original paint. Decoy - 11 7/8” long x 2 ½” wide. Stand – 8 ¼” tall x 4” base.

Antique Eagle and Eaglets Cast Iron Mechanical Bank. An outstanding casting of Eagle and Eaglets Cast Iron Mechanical Bank. Place a coin in the eagle’s beak, press lever and the eagle leans forward spreading her wings while feeding the eaglets as coin drops in slot. Scarce khaki grass variation. Made by J & E Stevens Company, Cromwell, CT. Marked on base “PAT. Jan. 23, 1883”. Excellent condition with original paint. 6” tall x 8 ¼” long x 4” wide.

The designer, artist has captured the realistic form and color of this red headed woodpecker with the back plate to simulate the side of a tree, showing great detail to the bark.
