Black Duck Wooden Decoy
Antique Folk Art Black Duck Decoy. Hand carved with painted eyes. Head is hinged, so it can be folded back into hollowed out body. This style was done by carver for easy packing of rig for carrying and transportation. In working paint, with buckshot in the wood on each side of decoy. Signed with initials on the underside, "TFL", ca. 1940's. Measures 6" tall x 13-1/8" long x 4-3/8" wide. Unusual Rare form.
