Carved Wooden Sperm Whale Clark Voorhees
Exceptional carved and painted sperm whale. This sperm
whale is painted black and the inside of the mouth is painted red.
There are eleven inlaid teeth inserted into the lower jaw. The
inlaid eye is yellow and black. Signed on the reverse side with
the carver's stamp "C VOORHEES WESTON VT" (1911-1980)
and bears the carver's stamp logo.
Overall excellent condition with original paint. 5 1/4"Height x 17 ½” Length.
