Wonderful eye-appealing Duck Hunting Decoy depicting a Bufflehead Duck by noted & award winning decoy maker and carver Nick Sapone, Wanchese, NC. Carved and made in traditional Outer Banks Style. Carved head with stretch canvas over wire body and wooden base. Added appeal the head is turned and has glass eyes. Nick is a master maker and carver of this style of decoy. Branded on underside of base “NS” and signed, “Nick Sapone, Wanchese, NC.” Excellent condition. 6” tall x 11 ¼” long x 5 ¼” wide.
