Front side shows photo of the bank building, and signed “First Trust and Savings Bank of Peoria, 210 – 212 South Adams Street, First Nat. Bank Building”. Back signed, “Dimes Are Young Dollars They Grow Quickly When Kept Together; 3% Compounded On Savings Semi-Annually; Systematic Savings Is A Key To Success, This Dime Bank Cheerfully opened as Often as you Bring it In”. Signed and made by, “Parisian Novelty Co., Chicago, Pat. Apld. For”. Done in pleasing colors of green with yellow lettering on cream background. Circa 1917. Excellent condition. 2 ½” diameter x ½” thick.
