Antique Cast Iron Foot Warmer Americana

An unique and extremely rare cast iron Foot Warmer. Eye-appealing designed reticulated foot trivet mounted to a pedestal stand which is hinged to be opened so an oil lamp can be lit to heat warming plate. Great color with red pin-striping and gold leaf leaves on vine add a decorative quality to this early foot warmer. Circa 1860-1890. 5 ¼” tall x top 8 ¾” dia. x bottom 7” dia.
