Well executed rare antique butter print showing sitting up squirrel with Nut. Grass and foliage on each side and under squirrel. Double lined, double notched with single rope line border highlighting the squirrel. Showing exceptional detail to carving with nice surface and dry patina. American - found in New England. Ca. 1875-1890. Measures 3 5/8" diameter x 2 1/2" tall.
